Formed in the aftermath of a fire that ravaged Englishtown’s Main Street in 1904, the Englishtown Fire Department responds to fire alarms in Englishtown and surrounding areas. The First Due area is less than 1 square mile of land, but encompasses many residential houses, apartments, and commercial occupancies. Each year, the department handles various incidents including, but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Structure Fires, Brush Fires, and Motor Vehicle Accidents.
